Material (fabric 40"wide):  
A: Stripes, symbolizing the threads: 6 inch
B: Brown for the shelf: 8 inch
C: Wood for the spools: 6 inch
D: Light background: 12 inch
E: Borders and binding: 12 inch

  1 or 2 strips depending how many spools you want to put on the shelves. Cut 2 1/2" rectangles from the strips. ***

*** Please keep attention to the direction of the striped fabric, so the stripes are horizontal on the spools. The spools should be 2 1/2 inch in height and 2 inch in width. If your striped fabric is printed in the other direction you have to switch the cuts.
