The Lottery game for this year may sound a little complicated, but it's not.
ONE entry is TWO Fat Quarters, you can throw in up to six FQs (3 entries).
Sign up ends with May, 31.
For one entry you get the chance to pick up two numbers, which will be given
to you during the party. The first number does reveal if you have to send or
are receiving a FQ.
The second number does give you the name of the lucky recipient or the
sender.
Please consider it's a lottery and if you have a bad luck day you only have
to send and pay postage and get nothing in return !
Now, as you know me and my humor, that's not all. The theme for the FQs is
of course Birthday or Anniversary. Hej, wait a minute more before you start
searching through your stash. You thought to look for fabric with Birthday
written on it, or balloons, cakes, candles, bubbles,....??? NO, no, no. Your
FQ can be any color or pattern, BUT you have to explain why it is matching
the theme.
For example: You send a jewel tone FQ and your explanation would be:
I wanted to give you jewels, but can only afford a piece of fabric.
We will collect your descriptions and I'll feel free to decide for the best
excuse and of course giving a prize.
Imi has volunteered to help during the party and will get a copy of the
number list to have all under control.
